Who Will Stand?...

“Our God will fight for us”  Nehemiah 4:20

I hope you’ll join many of us, ministry leaders and intercessors, now in thirty nations, during all or part of this next National Day of Repentance, set for November 29-30, 2013.

It’s called a “National Day of Purity and Humiliation.”   This bold call to the body of Christ first to Australia and now internationally grew out of a prayer to the Holy Spirit for His Wisdom after a Bible study in the House of Prayer For All Nations in Canberra, Australia on November 5.   Politicians in that Australian capitol had just voted for same sex marriage.   We saw this as a key breach in the wall, a spiritual attack on the Christian roots of Australia, earlier declared in prophecy to be part of the “Great Southland of the Holy Spirit.”

After prayer we were unified in believing the spiritual attack required the spiritual response found in the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:13-15.  The battle and the victory would be the Lord’s if we, His people, humbled ourselves, prayed, sought His face and turned from our wicked ways.

Compared to the Lord’s Purity we all are “wicked” --- as humans we all fall short of the glory of God.   But thanks to His Blood and His Name and His Love, He gives us the privilege of repentance because He loves us  (Revelation 3: 19-21.) He restores our souls; He leads us in His Path of Righteousness for His Name’s sake (Psalm 23:3) because we are made in His image (Genesis 1:27).

As Nehemiah pointed out, we pick up idols from the world; we need to “cleanse our rooms.” (Nehemiah 13: 7-9.)  When we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9.  The Holy Spirit chastens us for our profit so that we may be partakers of His holiness.  (Hebrews 12:10.)  And there’s then this blessing:  when we repent we have greater intimacy with Him; His wonderful joy follows repentance !

Personal repentance acts as a cultivator to break up the hard ground of secular disbelief in any nation.   It’s also like mortar. As we invite Him into our hearts (Revelation 3:20-21) to help us renounce the old patterns of sin, we build up the fullness of the Spirit of Christ within us and become overcomers. “Humiliation”--- repentance-- is a spiritual “mortar” to rebuild the wall of Purity that the Lord wishes to place around His body of believers all over the world.  We are to be in the world, but not of it.

As thousands of us, maybe someday millions of us, join in a solemn, collective act of repentance on a given day, the lukewarm body of Christ will be rebuilt and strengthened.  No weapon formed against us will prosper; the gates of hell will not prevail against His called out ones.

Question: As in Nehemiah’s time, will you take your place on the “wall?” As a living stone will you add your “mortar” to the wall to strengthen the body of Christ? As His servant will you join us—in your prayer closet, in a Bible study, in a local church service --- at some point during this National Day of Purity and Humiliation?

If so, you and I can count on His promise: “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us, therefore we His servants will arise and build…” (Nehemiah 2:20).

God bless you,

Pastor Jeff

Is America Headed for a Major Earthquake?

Whoa...another powerful message.

We in Christian America are supposed to be like Rachel (she represents the Gentile Church). We need to give Leah (rightful Jewish Bride) the "secret sign"---The Holy Spirit who will reveal the Truth of the Messiah to them so they can complete their marriage to the Bridegroom.

Instead, we (American gov't) are doing this:

This will cause the Earth to tremble. Interestingly, God gave me a word awhile back about the "New Madrid Faultline"

Recently, I've been studying the Four Blood Moons that correspond with the Hebrew Feasts/Festivals. The oldest one in recent recorded history was 1492 (Remember: in 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue!)

What most people don't know is during the same exact year that King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella financed Columbus, they were also robbing the Jews of their inheritance, persecuting them and expunging them from Spain. Spain never recovered as a major super-power after this event and today they are morally and financially bankrupt.

The U.S. is the "New Madrid"...our government leaders (Obama/Kerry/Hagel--the unholy American trinity) are trying to rob Israel of their inheritance, persecuting them and trying to expunge them from their rightful lands. We will never recover as a major super power as, we too, will become morally and financially bankrupt from this policy.

Sadly (while I don't like to make "predictions") I humbly believe that if the U.S. is "successful" in forcing Israel into a bad treaty or into giving up "land for peace" we will be badly punished in our "heartland". Here's what Wikipedia says about the New Madrid Faultline in the heartland of the United States:

The 150-mile (240 km) long fault system, which extends into five states, stretches southward from Cairo, Illinois; through Hayti, Caruthersville and New Madrid in Missouri; through Blytheville into Marked Tree in Arkansas. It also covers a part of West Tennessee, near Reelfoot Lake, extending southeast into Dyersburg.

The meanings of these names are blood curdling.  In "West Tennessee" we have the town of "Memphis". Both "Cairo" and "Memphis" are straight out of the Egyptian geography pages.  The Egyptians were swallowed up from persecuting the Jews.  "Hayti" is another shadow-picture of an Earthquake devastation as "Haiti" recently had the most deadly earthquake in modern times.  "New Madrid" is, of course, a reference to Spain's Jewish persecution. "Marked Tree"!!!!!--Dear Lord please help us--we will be hewn down.   Blythe= lacking due thought or consideration : casual , heedless, blithe unconcern ...

Reelfoot Lake is noted for its bald cypress trees and its nesting pairs of bald eagles.

He cut down cedars, or perhaps took a cypress or oak.~Isaiah 44:14.  This is a repentance scripture.

We had better repent or we will be HEWN DOWN.  Bald Eagles represent AMERICA.
In the early 20th century the Reelfoot area was marked by widespread lawlessness and "Night Riding."  Literally...God will "reel our foot" back in if we continue treading on Israel.

As for Dyersburg...It sounds like "Die" but it more means "Dye." In the Bible, the word "dyed" comes up most often in reference to the waterproofed skins that were used to cover the Ark of the Covenant. Perhaps, this refers to the "dying and DYE-ing" that will take place in America as we realize the error of our ways after great natural tragedies and dye our garments in the Blood of the Lamb.

So....Will America literally be "rent in two" by our evil Israel geo-political policy?  If so, it will happen in our "heartland" on the "New Madrid faultline."

National Day of Purity & Humiliation (November 29th-30th)

National Day of Purity and Humiliation

Friday – Saturday, November 29-30th 2013 from sunset to sunset

Declaration:

We declare that it’s time to seek God’s Purity for our nation.  We as believers in Christ join together in homes, churches and places of prayer, to worship and focus on the Holiness of our God. We acknowledge our deep need for His help in order for us to follow His righteous ways.

We recognize that the worldly culture has infiltrated our hearts and thinking, our homes, the Body of Christ and our nation. As God’s people, we humble ourselves before the Lord and seek His face and repent of; breaking covenant with God, immorality, bloodshed, lust of the eyes, pride of life, and not resisting the temptations of the evil one through entertainment and advertising. We repent of not living by God’s standards in His Word, including His definition of marriage, and of not partaking of His Holiness.

We choose this day to turn back into covenant relationship with God, and to leave our old sinful ways behind us.  We seek God’s forgiveness and pray that God will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land, giving us grace to submit to follow Christ’s ways of Purity for His name’s sake, making changes in our lifestyles, through the leading and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.  We devote ourselves to sincerely follow His ways as Christ’s Bride, in preparation for His soon return.

Prayer asking for God’s Mercy, Redemption and Restoration

Heavenly Father, we recognise in your Word, your loving warnings to your people Israel, and also through Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount, and the writings of the New Testament Apostles to the New Covenant believers, that there are serious consequences outlined in your Holy Scriptures for breaking covenant with you. We acknowledge our sin and pray this day, as we turn away from the world and repent of our fleshly ways, and we seek your forgiveness and desire for you Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, to purge and purify our hearts through the fire of your Holy Spirit, to bring us into a committed covenant relationship with you, to follow your ways of Purity, and to walk in the Holy Spirit as true sons and daughters of the Living God.

We pray this day that you will illuminate the darkened thinking of our minds, and open the eyes of our hearts and understanding by the light and revelation of your Holy Spirit through your Word, that we will heed the seriousness of this hour, in the Fear of the Lord and your wisdom.

Turn us back to be devoted to you, change our tastes, rewire our responses, and channel our passions into worshipping you alone we pray, so that we can desire to come to know you; our Holy and Pure God, and give us the grace to receive the love of your Truth that we might be saved. Open our spiritual ears that we might hear and obey your voice, before it is too late for you to turn back the flood of evil in this hour.

We pray for your divine intervention to heal and soften our hearts, that we might love you, confess how we have fallen short of your Word, and receive your forgiveness through the power of your sinless atoning blood that you shed at Calvary, Lord Jesus. Give us the grace to forgive ourselves for our foolish ways, and others who have defiled us, so that we might enter into the blessing of your joy and peace. Father, we plead your everlasting love for us and the precious blood of your Son Christ Jesus, and the blood of your covenant with us. May the blood of Jesus be precious in your sight on our behalf; please deliver us from the iniquities of our past generations, personally, of our cities and nation. Remember us for mercy. Reveal your might, your power and your goodness in our day, for the knowledge of the glory of God to cover our city, nation and the whole earth, as the waters cover the sea. We pray this in Jesus precious name, Amen.

Some Key Scriptures to help you discover God’s heart on the issue of Purity & His strategy for us to be restored- please explore as the Holy Spirit leads you during the day; we started at Isa 59:16-21-:

Deut ch 28 & 29; 2 Chr 7:13-15; Neh 1: 2-7; Ps 23:3, 32, 45, 51, 66:16-20;  Isa ch 11:2-5, 9 & 29:11-13 & 53 & 57 & 58 & 59:12-21; Jer ch 6:16-19 & 10:1-11,14, 21-24 & 11:1-8, Dan ch 9; Hos ch 2 & 14; Matt 5:8, 27-32 & 19:7-12; Mark 10:2-12; Acts 3:19;Rom 12 & 13; 1 Cor 2; 5:1-6, 9-13 & 6:9-11; 2 Cor 6:1, 4-8, 14-18 & 7:1 & 11:1-3; Eph ch 5; Gal ch 5; 2 Thes 2:10, Heb ch 12;  Js ch 4; Rev 3:19-21

May you discover the goodness, mercy and blessing of our God on this day and see your prayers answered and Christ glorified,

In Christ’s Love,

Billy Graham's Dying Message and Warning to America

Here is a report from World Net Daily:
On his 95th birthday Nov. 7, the most famous Protestant evangelist of the 20th century will give what could be his final and most important message to the world.

In the months leading up to the unprecedented event, Billy Graham has declared in an exclusive interview with WND that signs of the end of the age are “converging now for the first time since Jesus made those predictions.” In his new book, “The Reason for My Hope: Salvation,” Graham wrote the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is “near” and the United States “can’t go on much longer in the sea of immorality without judgment coming.”

Now, in a trailer to “The Cross,” the primary program in the My Hope America with Billy Graham evangelistic outreach, Graham said that with “all my heart I want to leave you with the truth.” “We have been going down the wrong road for a long time,” Graham told WND. “Seemingly, man has learned to live without God, preoccupied and indifferent toward him and concerned only about material security and pleasure.

“And yet mankind is also adrift morally and spiritually, confused and fearful because he does not know where he is or where he is going. He lives in a world dangerously torn by hate and violence and conflict, and yet he feels powerless to do anything about them. He also knows his own heart is driven by destructive passions and motives he cannot seem to control or change.”

“People need to repent of their sins, turn to God and “take the narrow road that Jesus talks about in the Bible. The narrow road means that you forsake sin and you obey God, that you live up to the Ten Commandments and that you live up to the Sermon on the Mount desiring to please God in everything. The narrow road is hard and it is difficult; you can’t do that yourself. You need God’s help and that’s the reason we ask people to come to receive Christ because when you receive him, the Holy Spirit comes to live within to help us live the life.

“Our world is desperately seeking answers to the deepest questions of life – answers that can only be found in the Gospel. That is the reason for my hope, that there can be changed hearts and a changed society as we yield ourselves to Christ.”

In what the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association describes as the largest outreach in its six-decade history, Graham will give a powerful pre-recorded message the week of Nov. 7. The “My Hope” programs will be available for viewing online, including on YouTube. “The Cross,” the primary program in the “My Hope” series, will be broadcast on the Fox News Channel, TBN, Christian networks and local television stations in a number of cities. [More information can also be found at the websites or by calling 1-877-7MY-HOPE, or 1-877-769-4673].

Participating individuals, called “Matthews” after the disciple who invited guests to his home to introduce them to Jesus, will open up their homes to people they have been praying for. At the gatherings, they will show one of the My Hope evangelistic programs and share their own personal stories of coming to faith in Jesus.

The outreach comes as a number of major evangelists – Graham, his son Franklin Graham, Reinhard Bonnke, Greg Laurie, Luis Palau, Banning Liebscher and others – are turning their attention toward America in the hope of helping to ignite what Graham calls a “fresh spiritual awakening.”

Heartache for America
The movement began after Graham, who provided spiritual counsel to every president from Harry S. Truman to George W. Bush, released an open letter to America in the summer of 2012 titled “My Heart Aches for America.” In the letter, Graham wondered what his late wife, Ruth, would think of a nation where “self-centered indulgence, pride and a lack of shame over sin are now emblems of the American lifestyle.”

Graham compares America to the ancient city of Nineveh, the lone superpower of its time. When the prophet Jonah finally traveled to Nineveh and proclaimed God’s warning, the people repented and escaped judgment, Graham wrote, adding he believes the same thing could happen in America now.

Graham, who founded Christianity Today and Decision magazines, was reared on a dairy farm in Charlotte, N.C. Growing up during the Depression, Graham learned the value of hard work on the family farm, but he also found time to spend many hours in the hayloft reading books on a wide variety of subjects. In 1934, the 15-year-old Graham committed his life to Christ through the ministry of traveling evangelist Mordecai Ham. He was ordained in 1939, graduated from Wheaton College in 1943 and married fellow student Ruth McCue Bell, the daughter of a missionary surgeon who spent the first 17 years of her life in China. After college, Graham pastored the First Baptist Church in Western Springs, Ill., before joining Youth for Christ. He preached throughout the U.S. and Europe after World War II.

Test of time
“Billy Graham has stood the test of time, and where others have come and gone and others have had scandal, he has not,” said Ed Stetzer, president of LifeWay Research in Nashville, Tenn.

Franklin Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said his father, even at his advanced age, hasn’t quit working or pursuing his lifelong mission to fulfill the Great Commission – the instruction of the resurrected Christ to his disciples to spread his teachings to all the nations of the world. “At 94, he hasn’t lost his vision,” Franklin Graham said. “At 94, he is still concerned about people being lost and separated from God and spending eternity in hell, and it’s a burden to him. I would just hope that others would see this and do likewise. We need to have that burden for the lost. And my father, even at this age, hasn’t lost that burden.”
Bonnke, an international evangelist whose ministry, Christ for all Nations, said Graham is a “true man of God, a wonderful evangelist.” “Billy Graham has done an outstanding job, and his family is continuing that legacy,” Bonnke said. “But we can’t rest and say, ‘It has all been done.’ We have to get busy to launch out and reach the present generation with the Gospel as well.”

Liebscher, director of Jesus Culture, an international Christian revivalist youth outreach ministry based out of Bethel Church in Redding, Calif., said he believes the nation can experience another “awakening,” and he’s greatly encouraged that the “Lord is speaking to some of these generals of the faith … because he’s really trying to stir hope in the church.” “One of the things that happens is we lose hope and we begin to become hopeless about the state of our nation and when we become hopeless faith isn’t able to grow,” Liebscher said. “I really believe God is turning the hearts of these leaders to this nation, and it’s going ignite hope in the hearts of people that God can do this.”

Liebscher said Graham’s comparison of America to ancient Nineveh – a nation that repented and escaped God’s judgment after hearing the prophet Jonah’s warning – inspires him that “God can still break in and God can still turn a nation.” “We read in history again and again that as nations would be in decline, moral decline, and there would be violence and sexual immorality and all this stuff, that God would break in, and he would turn a nation, he would turn the hearts of the people,” Liebscher said. “We see it biblically. We see it in history. I think God is speaking again and that hope is coming. Hope is alive.”

David Jeremiah, pastor of the 8,000-member Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, Calif., said Graham has watched the nation’s moral decline over many decades and understands the critical, existential point it is at now. “He’s seen it as we’ve continued to slide downward away from the very principles that our country was founded upon – now at an all-time low in all the years I’ve been doing this.” While watching the “Defining Moments” video, Jeremiah said it struck him that national repentance is the only hope America has. “We’ve tried everything else,” Jeremiah said. “There is no other hope. The political process isn’t going to make it happen. We’re not going to elect somebody who is going to immediately turn this thing back. We don’t seem to be able to coalesce as a group of Christians and get anything done together. The Gospel is the power that can change the lives of people, and I believe that’s what Dr. Graham believes in his heart, too.”

Best is yet to come
Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, author of “The Harbinger: The Ancient Mystery that holds the Secret of America’s Future,” said one of the mysteries contained in “The Harbinger” is the parallel between the fall of ancient Israel and the fall of modern America.

“In this ancient template, the nation undergoes a metamorphosis in which those who simply hold true to the ways of God, to that which the nation as a whole once held to, now find themselves increasingly at odds with the culture around them,” said Cahn, whose book has remained on the New York Times bestseller since January 2012.

“The case of Billy Graham - reveals this dynamic. Graham is undoubtedly the most famous face of American and world evangelism. Thus his recent statements concerning America are all the more noteworthy. They are increasingly at odds with the direction of American culture and have increasingly taken on a prophetic tone. It is a sign of the times.”

Cahn, the senior rabbi at the nation’s largest messianic congregation, the Beth Israel Worship Center in Wayne, N.J., and a descendant of Aaron, the brother of the biblical prophet Moses, noted Graham has been known as the “pastor to presidents” and has prayed at numerous presidential inaugurations. “But had he began his ministry today instead of years ago, holding the same views he has always held, it is likely he would have been banned from praying at the most recent inauguration. This is a sign of how much America has metamorphosed in the past half-century – a sign of how great and deep is its spiritual and moral apostasy.”

Amid this growing immorality, Graham told WND that the greatest hope of the Christian faith is the return of Jesus.

“That promise will someday become literal history, and with God’s help we’re going to be a part of that history that is yet to come,” Graham said. “Only Jesus Christ when he comes back again is going to bring it. He will defeat every enemy. Sin will be eliminated. Death will be eliminated. War will be eliminated. Crime will be eliminated. The hope of the Second Coming of Christ generates energy and sacrifice and faithfulness and diligence and zeal. The best is yet to be. Heaven is yet to be, along with eternal life, Graham said.It is the hope of the Second Coming that “thrills me every day of my life,” Graham said. “I know that he’s coming again, and I know that he’s going to set up a kingdom of which there will be no end,” Graham said. “In Titus 2 it says, ‘Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.’ Our hope centers in a person, not in circumstances, not in a political party, but in a person.”
