Devotional Day 7: Chain of Fools ~ Repenting of Abortion

RepentAnce
Day 7: September 30, 2014
Repenting of:
 Abortion, Anti-Christ & Anti-Life Spirit, Abominations, Apathy
Intention:
Pray that God will clear away the "powerful delusion" in America and other nations so that we may recognize the horrific abomination of abortion.  May we once again CHOOSE LIFE so that we and our children may live.
 Scripture:
"The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: 'God, I thank you that I am not like       other people'."
~ Luke 18:11
Reflection:
As ISIS cuts a bloody swath through the Mideast, we in the Western world are understandably sickened and horrified.  Perhaps we have questioned:  "What special type of evil slaughters innocents with such savagery?"  Surely this is an evil unseen before in modern times, right?
When G.K. Chesterton, Christian theologian and philosopher was asked the deep question:  "What is wrong with the world today?" he replied with the short two word answer:
"I am."
In the Old Testament, the prophet Nathan came to King David and told him a story about a rich man who kills someone else's beloved sheep.  It was a tragic story about the evil of an extremely blessed person who slaughtered innocent life while trying to selfishly preserve his own.  Nathan was symbolically looking for an answer to this question:
What should be done with such a man?
King David was furious.  Tell me who this man is so that he can be punished! Like David...we want to see ISIS bombed into smithereens.  We are righteously indignant about radical Islam.  We want JUSTICE right now!  They must be made to PAY!
 He said to Nathan,
"As surely as the Lord lives, the man who did this deserves to die! Because he committed this cold-hearted crime, he must pay for the lamb four times over!"
The next words of the prophet were a bone-chilling revelation to David:
You are that man!
Let us recognize this fact:  In terms of numbers and the defenselessness and helplessness of our victims...we are far worse than the NAZI and ISIS villains.  We make them look lame in comparison.  Let's remove the log from our own eye so we can see clearly to assist someone else.
You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.
~Matthew 7:5
Let's REPENT of our own horrific national sins, THEN and only then will we have the moral authority to confront an evil like ISIS.

Prayer:
Almighty God, Maker of Heaven and Earth, Creator and Sustainer of Life:  We bow before You in shame and penitence.  We confess our despicable sin of the slaughter of innocents.  We have shed innocent blood throughout our land and we have encouraged other nations to follow us into this horrific evil.  We have sacrificed our helpless and defenseless children on the altar of the false god of Molech or Human Secularism.  Please lift the veil of deception that blinds our eyes to the atrocity of this sin.  Help us to embrace Your wisdom and not man's "wisdom."  Open our eyes to the suffering that we have caused and give us a contrite, renewed heart.  We pray that You "set the captives free" and release us and our children from the bondage of this depraved iniquity.  Please heal our hearts and souls by cleansing our land of this wicked sin.  Cleanse our immoral blood-shedding of innocents through the shedding of Your innocent Blood on the Cross.  We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all Names, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. ~ Amen.
Continue in prayer using the 4 prayer points as the Lord leads you.
             Four Prayer points:
  1. Help us to recognize the evil and rebellion within ourselves.
  2. Help us to TURN AWAY from this evil.
  3. Give us a genuine contriteness through prayer, fasting and sincere REPENTANCE.
  4. Heal our land so that we may become a beacon once again shedding Your Light throughout the world.

Prophetic Message for the Church 9-28-2014

Love to my prophets of Repentance:

You are like a live, flowing, fresh, reviving spring.  Though you are offspring from mankind, you are music to My ears...you who are repentance preachers in the wilderness of Egypt.  You are the dwelling place of Jehovah.  Great, mighty, distinguished among mankind bringing a message of Salvation/Deliverance and Faith.

Yea, indeed, moreover...bring in, gather, cause to come into the fold the fatherless.  God the Father will bless a hundred fold this House of God.  Now, hitherto begins the Valiant Army of strength and ability purifying your people from the uncleanness of spiritual adultery...now becoming a faithful lover.

Measure, mark out the challah (cake).  Cease, desist, forego your current land and spy out the land of Canaan, the promised land.  A great man, older in age, will have numerous progeny from the formerly sexually polluted, diseased and sick.  God will reveal him and this era will come to an end.  There will be an increase in the Harvest of Judah through the jawbone of an ass (Beasts of burden).

The powerful, unclean lizard, chameleon-man will become nothing, without particle, as if he never was...swept away like demon-dirt, withered, disgraced, faded and treated with contempt.  He will surely fall and be dishonored.  His inner man heart is false and the "Dreams of his father" will come to nothing.  He will have to run for cover under Assyrian control and it will be painful.  His secrets will be revealed as he is carried away to exile.

The choicest best part (fat) of the Elect will bear Fruit of the Holy Spirit and their lives will be prolonged from this false god.  But many sorrows along the coast will occur.  There will be much destruction of the country and division of the union as I measure them and have found them wanting.  Their glory, riches, honor, reputation and splendor shall cease.  Their "cheeky" mouth will taste the full measure of My Flame from the tip of the spear.

In the sense of a "striking fire" forging a gate, I will remake the battlements of rubies, gates of sparkling jewels and walls of precious stones (Isaiah 54:12).

But Rejoice! those of you who REPENT will find rest.  I will deal bountifully with you.  It will go well with you.  Your old worn our rags will become garments of righteousness and will do great things once again.  Every heart will understand God's love for mankind.  I will leap over your bondage.  When you say:  "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken me?" THAT is when you will see the Light of my Advent.  You will see that Repentance is a secure Rock from Judgment...a strong base, a fixed place.

Selah.

Devotional Day 6: Friends in Low Places ~ Repenting of: Treachery, Traitor of Israel

RepenTance
Day 6: September 29, 2014
Repenting of:
Treachery, Traitor of Israel
Intention:
To specifically repent of the sin of Replacement Theology rampant amongst the Body of Christ.  To remind us that we, who are not Jewish, are a grafted in branch and we are humbly grateful to eat even crumbs at the Master's Table.
 Scripture:
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
~ Romans 1:16
Reflection:
A CRY is heard as the voice of our Redeemer, Yeshua HaMashiach [Jesus the Messiah] makes known to Abba Father God the power needed by sacrifice to meet the conditions of fallen man and of the sin and the sentence that sin demands by the laws of God  - that is; the "sentence of death."  Jesus paid this price by giving His own life as a sacrifice for sin in obedience to the Father's will because of the Father's love for Israel and all of His Creation. Father's forgiveness and mercy has been poured out also to you and me for our own personal sins and the sins of the world.  When the Lamb of Sacrifice, Jesus Christ, shed His own blood for the forgiveness of all our sins, He reconciled us back to the Father in a redeemed action of intercession on our behalf.  The CROSS prevailed; Jesus Christ the Son of God CRIED OUT "It is finished" a redemptive act for His chosen people Israel; the apple of God's eye. So great was this sacrifice; all Gentile nations were also called to receive their redemption and to be grafted into the true vine Israel; for it is written, all nations shall praise Him [Psalm 67].
We, as the redeemed of the LORD, align ourselves with His Word as Paul the Apostle proclaimed to the Corinthians: Jesus Christ and Him only crucified [1Corinthians Chapter:2] Our instruction given in scripture is to pray for the Jews first [Romans 1:16] so they too may realize God's Love through Yeshua HaMashiach [Jesus the Messiah].
Let us stand in the gap of intercession and prayer proclaiming to the Jew God's redemptive revelation.  To those that are blinded by sin and tradition we ask for the Mercy of God according to scripture for a repentance so they too may know liberty where Christ has set them free. Let us in the unity of God's Word and His Spirit humble our hearts unto obedience and pray with all prayer, supplication and petition with a heartfelt repentance for these ones loved by God.  We also pray for those that have an Anti-Semitic stance and attitude towards God's chosen people the Jews, thus being contrary to God's Word. His Word is given to us in scripture to bless His people, the Jews, while reconciling all nations, tribes and tongues to Himself in order that they too might be crafted into the true vine of Israel through Jesus Christ our Lord.  He is our Savior, not only as the King of the Jews, but also as the soon coming King of kings

Prayer:
Dear Father today we come to your Throne of all Grace as your sons and daughters redeemed by the blood of Jesus. We give you thanks and praise for your faithful and ongoing love for your people the Jews. We acknowledge to you on behalf of all the body of Christ and our Nation our lukewarmness in praying for Israel and the Jews; while knowing through the scriptures that Jesus died on the cross as King of the Jews and will be returning to the Mount of Olives in Israel.  Please cleanse us all from these our sins and the sins of our nation in false repentance theology, for many of us have denied the rights of the Jewish people those rights that have been given to them by You, "The Ancient of Days."  Have mercy on us dear Father and cleanse us from all of our sins and heal our land as we pray that in so doing we may "Praise the God of Israel", the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach [Jesus the Messiah]. ~Amen

Continue in prayer using the 6 prayer points as the Lord leads you.
             Six Prayer points:

  1. Focus on the Cross of Christ and the victorious sacrifice of Jesus Christ [Yeshua HaMaschiach].
  2. Acknowledge our failure and our called duty to pray for the Jews Gods chosen people.
  3. Bind the spiritual strong man Anti-Christ and the Anti-Semitic spirit toward the Jews.
  4. Proclaim the finished work of the cross "It Is finished" Jesus Christ and Him only crucified.
  5. Confess, renounce and personally repent of any Anti-Semitic influences and any lukewarmness in praying for and loving the Jews.
  6. Give praise and thanksgiving to Abba Father God for the victory of the Cross and the power of Yeshua [Jesus] and His resurrection and redemption for the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Devotional Day 5: Put a Little Love in Your Heart: Repenting of ~ Not Loving Our Neighbor

RepeNtance
Day 5: September 28, 2014
Repenting of:
 Not Loving our Neighbor
Intention:
We will take a fresh look at who are our 'neighbors' and examine our attitudes and actions toward them. This will help us to repent and follow more fully Jesus' challenge to love others in need sacrificially.
  Scripture:
"He [an expert in the Law] answered: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself."
~ Luke 10:27
Reflection:
We all know the story of the Good Samaritan well. But do we know why Jesus told this powerful parable?
In Luke 10:25, we read that an expert in the Law, probably a Pharisee, comes to Jesus asking what he needs to do to gain eternal life. Jesus gets him to answer his own question and he rightly quotes Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18 which summarize the Old Testament Law.
Jesus tells him to go and do this and he will live. But this religious scholar wants to find a loophole so he asks, "And who is my neighbor?" (Luke 10:29). Jesus, the Master Storyteller, challenges his self-righteous thinking with the Parable of the Good Samaritan. The dramatic story unfolds as, first, a priest and, then, a Levite pass by the needy half-dead fellow-Jew. Perhaps they were afraid or wanted to stay religiously clean.
The unpredicted then happens when help comes from a Samaritan, who, as a half-caste, is despised by the Jews. And yet he has compassion, taking his time and his resources, to make sure that the man recovers. Even the expert in the Law has to admit this was a display of mercy that a true neighbor would perform. Jesus concludes, "Go and do likewise" (Luke 10:37)!
We know we cannot keep the Law because we are by nature sinners and fall short of the requirements of the Law. In our helpless state it is only the mercy of God that can save us. Jesus, the only one who did not sin, died on the cross to meet the legal requirements of the Law for us. This we did not deserve. It is only because of his sacrificial love. Thank you Jesus!
And so now we have a debt or obligation to love and be merciful to all mankind (Rom 13:8-10). God longs for everyone from every nation, tribe, people and language to come into his Kingdom. God's saving grace is for all. Our neighbor is not limited to the person next door or in our community or of our own kind but extends to all people and especially those in need both physically and spiritually. You can't meet the needs of everyone, but you can ask the question, "God, who can I be a neighbor to today?"
What are your attitudes and actions towards those not of your own kind?
  • Do you have a tendency to be ethnocentric - looking down on other races and societies believing the ways of your culture are superior?
  • Do you demonstrate love to those with opinions and lifestyles different to your own?
  • Do you sacrificially give yourself, your time and your resources for the welfare of others?
  • Are you willing to change your thinking (repent) and act in a new way; the way of selfless, unconditional love?
Spend some quiet time before God now and allow His Spirit to bring conviction as to where you need to change. Be specific. Then ask Him for His help to go and do this in order to be a good neighbor to others.

Prayer:
Father in Heaven, I humbly bow before you realizing that I have not been a good neighbor to others. At times, I have harbored distrust, bitterness and, yes, even hatred in my heart to others especially those who are of a different race, creed or social background. I have not thought or acted with mercy, grace or compassion towards them. I am sorry and I repent. I want to change my attitude and my actions. I know that I need your Holy Spirit poured out in my heart in order to love others sacrificially and unconditionally. Please help me. The needs around me, and beyond, are so many. Show me which of the needy I am to give myself, my time and my resources to as the Good Samaritan did. In Jesus' name I pray. ~Amen
